There have been a few isolated cases of this, yes.

But honestly, if women are thinking that about men with pregnancy fetishes... indeed, bullet dodged. That's nuts.

To meet up with anyone from a dating site is too risky, women and mother's have logical fears of life and death for themselves and their child(ren), and I don't want these women online accuse me of child abduction, in addition, adult grooming and disrespecting women or pregnant people. We seek a hangout session, not to kidnap babies or abuse women, esp anything against their own consent or permission. Nancy Grace on CNN or Fox News is obsessed with missing or exploited children and sexual crimes or harassment, she's a renowned moralistic feministic "activist" long warned all people to not seek dates on the internet for many years. I know we avoid asking out pregnant women IRL even when its perfectly fine to fraternize with them and adults in this country have the right of free association IRL and online.

As a women in today’s world, especially a pregnant one, it’s completely valid to not want to meet up with random strangers. I don’t know why you’d be surprised, you don’t know a persons true intentions.

Nope, I have never experienced this. Sounds like the woman you were talking to has been watching too many of those thriller type movies in which a pregnant woman is abducted and held prisoner by a crazy husband and wife who can't make their own baby so they plan to take hers. Indeed there may have been real-life incidents of this particular type of crime however I suspect it is something that does not happen regularly in the United States.

Pregnant women by nature are programmed to be very, very protective of their unborn babies so it is perfectly understandable why they would turn down an offer to meet some random dude they met online. Thanks to the infamous Craigs List Killer people, in general, are more cautious about meeting online strangers. It's the nature of the world we live in nowadays. I can respect a pregnant woman's concern in this area and it is absolutely justified thanks to the nut jobs that are roaming around out there giving human beings a bad name.
