I do find it funny that DailyMail posts about this guy invading the privacy of expecting moms when they themselves post a lot of pictures of expecting celebrities that could potentially be considered invasive to their privacy. I know that it is nowhere close to being the same thing by a long shot but...

I was going to point that out too. In fact, many of the celebrities in our "celebrities" section are hotlinked from DM, most of whom are scantily clad.

Also, it's rather strange that the complainant is whining about her photographs being disseminated while having them plastered all over a DM article.

Good news, the articles are no longer as prominent as before when searching for the site on Google.

I bit off topic... but it's nice to see you admin. Usually you seem to keep a low profile, so it's nice to see you interacting and seeming more... human (sorry). So, yeah, just thought I'd mention that. Smile

Hah - that's appreciated. This is an exceptional event requiring (human) interaction. Once everything subsides I'll probably retreat to the lonely world of administrative work to keep things on even keel.

Also, I appreciate the fact that virtually no one panicked and jumped ship. There's no reason to do so, however this stuff is understandably alarming given the private nature of the forum.

This is getting worse. First we start losing good blogs then we just lost TheBumpFiles, which is a HUGE loss. Now there are articles being written to warn pregnant women about this. Why can't people look, enjoy, and share without raising alarm bells. This article just showed up in my news feed. A few idiots are ruining it for the rest of us. Please stop!

Collecting pictures is a grey area for me but i think it is okay, posing as somebody is else is wrong though!

I think it's safe to say that what the guy did was gross. That aside, there's a lot of grossness in the production of porn for a lot of reasons. I think it's better that we're honest with ourselves about it and try to do better than to say "that never happens" or "shouldn't have made those pics." The Daily Mail and a lot of their readers are pretty bad but we can and should be better than a tabloid rag as a community.

I am however not going to feel bad about any of my sexual fetishes. When consenting (!) adults are involved and people aren't getting hurt (kink aside), there's nothing to disapprove of. Keep enjoying pregnant women, just don't be a creep about it.

Frustrating, but ultimately inevitable with the evolution of social media and the interwebs to what it has become today compared to say, the myspace days.

The last "donfall" started when that one woman posted some video about us as pedophiles etc.

What comes to news link, 90% of commenters are "on our side".

As bad as this guy is, and I've always assumed he's a very creepy person, the community deserves this to a certain point. While this guy destroyed an incredible amount of trust online, too many people are guilty of very similar things.

Many posters here share images that were not meant for the purposes given in this forum, and many share candids that are an obvious invasion of privacy. Legally, no issue. Morally? Have some common sense.

Many posts here are reacting against this guy because he didn't hide his tracks, but too many here have abandoned their respect for family and friend privacy long ago.
