Anyone else excited for Dragon Ball Fighters Z? The game looks sick and just might the one that get's me to buy a PS4 or Xbox One(haven't decided which one).

Fighter Z is at the top of the list of games that I'm planning on getting this year. It's been so long since we had a DBZ game that wasn't 3D or RPG based.

So it's more of a Injustice/Street Fighter game than what Xenoverse 1 & 2 were. Xenoverse was more open world then what Dragon Ball Z Fighters is. Also it's been 7 years since Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi which was the last game that was like Injustice/Street Fighter type game. You made it sound longer than 7 years.

7 years is quite a long time, especially in gaming.

I'd say it plays more like Capcom's vs. series games, with its tag dynamic and combos. It's weird though. I love the show but was never interested in the games until now. That Android 21(the main villain) has an interesting design and back story.

I used to watch it with my dad when it was on air, but I wasn't as much into it as he was. I believe he still has the entire series on DVD somewhere in his garage.
