Wait, where are you getting 30GB from? It's 50GB for MEGA's free plan, which is a farcry better than anything Google or any other competitor can offer. Not to mention MEGA won't DCMA your content or take it down unlike Google. Also there's no viewing limit either, making MEGA currently the best storage option available.
I'm absolutely serious. Here it is: at this moment i'm lookin at the diagramm of free/unfree space in my mega account an it says: 100% USED: 28GB(!!!) from 15(!!!)GB free space! Also: "...198% used on Cloud Disk..."

I also think, that those 50 GB free is connected to your android application of MEGA: they do this good deed to you ONLY if you install that application, otherwise they not, but EVEN THEN the present is temporary: you must be in time to fill the cloud disk to the top before the option is closed! How do i sure - from my own experiense. BTW the beneficence was bigger just about a year ago: they was givin you 65 GIGS if you where installing the application: have seen it with my own eyes, absolutely serious, on my own screens... So it goes...
