Wait, where are you getting 30GB from? It's 50GB for MEGA's free plan, which is a farcry better than anything Google or any other competitor can offer. Not to mention MEGA won't DCMA your content or take it down unlike Google. Also there's no viewing limit either, making MEGA currently the best storage option available.

it used to be 50GB but some time ago (atleast a year) its been 20GB + 30GB bonus which expires after like a month (i think but they dont tell you about it at sign up last time i checked). I have few accounts that i can no longer add files too because of this but if you fill up the space before the expiry date, you'll be able to view your data.

I will check my drives sometime today and see if my data is still there.

That seems odd since I recently signed up not even 6 months ago and still got full access to the 50GB. Granted I haven't used all of it, but it's still there.


   

my first mega acc has still 50gb .I think only your first account will have 50gb. your other accounts will have only 15gb after a month. still better than google drive. because no copyright bs.
