Thats an amazing Idea! I love that. Maybe ill try to do sth in this direction!

To keep with your goal of keeping it simple, how bout making it 2D, mostly dialog-driven, & powered by the Renpy engine? Then when you convince a gal to let you touch her belly, that would involve the most complex sprite animation in the game. I've got alot of ideas for this & I'm getting into Renpy myself for another game, DM me if you wanna know more.

(March 8, 2023, 2:09 pm)Avium Im probably not the only and absolutely not the best Developer here but i just had the idea of making a pregnancy focused video game.

I work as a software developer and also sometimes work with game engines like unity.

I dont know how much time i can invest in a project like this but if anyone has a good idea for a preggo game: tell me. 
It should be small (not a video game like you would get from a huge company with 50+ Developers or something) but fun.

Even if your idea isnt small, feel free to share them

This reminds of the time a person tried to make a pregnancy focused Yume Nikki game.

One game idea that I've been very slowly working on is a text based birth-rp game. You play as the main character, a ~38 weeks pregnant woman, and live life for up to a few weeks until you randomly go into labor and give birth.

It's sad that this thread is burried, please keep us updated if you can!

ADVENTURE / PUZZLE GAME

The main character is a woman pregnant with a VERY BIG baby. she is home alone. she is literally about to pop any moment.

we have to do puzzles all around the house in order to avoid that she breaks her water. she has to wait for her husband or the nurse, etc...

the puzzles consist in little micro minigames or activities that keep the baby calmed down. if we failed the baby will start moving very hard and make the pregnant girl going into labor

if the water breaks is game over.

Example of minigames = drink water, eat candies, bouncing on birthball, listen to music (guitar hero style following the song notes) etc..
