Yes it is rare, and if it does happen, through a family member or friend you knew well for a long time to trusted you with their consent. On Christmas night 1993 (memories of a bright full moon in the cold So CA desert) at the age of 13, my Mom's family friends who are sisters had a gathering and one of the sisters' grown daughters was pregnant with her 2nd child (it's a boy) while her 2 year old daughter was happily excited to become a big sister. She did offer me to touch the belly a few times that night (half of it she showed her bare belly, a petite woman who had a large abdomen for a 7 mos pregnancy stage), the baby was quiet from the "holiday moods" and everyone did the same with patting, touching, hugging and playing with her tummy (entirely the family and her ex-husband's side). The other sister's stepson and his brother talked about feeling me and then my bro in my Mom's on New Years eve 1979 and 1980 respectively (the grown sons were boys were similar ages back then). I guess 13 year old boys learning how to handle sexuality, romance and emotional attraction properly taught by their parents (father-son talks on gentlemenly behavior and mothers tell their sons how to be antisexist) had that experience with pregnant women they knew and developed an admiration for that stage (and a lesson of never judge a woman by her looks, esp she's our wives with our children).
