Oh yeah!

I think both AnnaSophia Robb and Hannah Murray deserve some huge props here because, even when we don’t a bare belly, they do such a good and believable job acting as if they are genuinely pregnant from how they react to their bumps to how they rub it in certain scenes.

Was there anything beyond what the trailer showed in terms of bare belly shots?

You know I'm always surprised why movies done on a budget like these don't go the pregnant body double route, rather than a cheap prosthetic with a bad paint job.

Guess it's cheaper to rent a belly than the paperwork of hiring a double. Honestly there's nothing better than a real belly even if it isn't the actresses' (God-Tier when the actress really is pregnant, I remember first seeing the belly scenes from Wynonna Earp and thinking "best prosthetic ever"... then a year or two later realizing Melanie Scrofano had been pregnant all along)

I just finished watching it. Don't wast your money and time. It is more about body horror than it is pregnancy. There is only one bare belly scene however her belly was jus a bit bloated, nothing to write home about. In fact, she spends the entire film modestly sized and never looks noticeably pregnant. The birth was laughably bad with terrible practical effects. The movie poster is false advertising and makes it appear this film is better than it is. The runtime is full of a bunch of nonsense that slows down the story and the acting at times very bad. Pass on this one unless you can't find something better to watch.

Oh well we can safely scrub this one then.

So it's like that old Antibirth movie.. only a few good scenes in that.

No, this movie is not even 5% like Antibirth. There is not enough pregnancy content in Exorcism In Utero to qualify as having a few good scenes.

So as people from the 80's would say: it's a "B Movie"? Sounds like the movie was made with little to no budget & it sounds like a bunch of high schoolers made it.

The concept of this film is good. In the hands of better filmmakers it could have been the pregnancy horror film gem we hoped it was.
