Mind you there's been a lot of good content in recent A-Tier Indie titles, like Titane or Guilt (actress was filming it throughout her pregnancy, and it's got some class belly scenes...granted not a horror)

Guess we'll see when it releases tomorrow.
Best to not go in with preset expectations. These type of cheap films are what they are. If we get some nice bare belly shots, a bit of rapid belly growth, a water break, and an explicit birth scene that would make it a good movie.

I don’t expect to get all of that but I will take whatever the film has to offer. I’ll also be grading it on other aspects such the gore factor and body horror.
Kinda got me thinkin about TV shows because there seems to be a reoccuring pattern where everything is the same (at least on non streaming shows)-> the actresses are always fully clothed, we never get any bare belly scene (the last non drama or hospital bare scene we got was in a Life In Pieces episode), we never get any belly movement or rubbing bare belly scenes, (other than the show mentioned above & 1 old Mike & Molly episode) no ultrasound scenes & (idk why this keeps happening) the births are always skipped over. We did get 1 in 911 & we will be getting 1 in the finale tomorrow but: it will likely be the same as before. Idk why they didn't have Jennifer lay back & hold her legs up while she was moaning & yelling. I give the scene 3/10.

Also (much like Fuller House) Jennifer's "belly" was covered the whole time. Why did they do that? Just like Sara Highlands fake twin belly was a bigger flop than the old Green Lantern movie. When will things change in shows? The last 2 times we had a bare belly scene was in 2 Chicago Med episodes. Movies might have some good stuff. There's a very realistic birth scene in an old French movie. Also: Dead Night has a great belly movement scene.

My personal experience is foreign films usually are better than films made in the U.S. particularly French, German, and Japan.

Exorcism in Utero is a U.S. film, a fact that gives me even more reason not to expect too much from it. Looks to be rated R for strong/disturbing violent content, language and sexual references. Nudity was not mentioned so that rules out tits and a graphic birth.

It’s probably going to be a somewhat enjoyable watch given pregnancy is part of the plot. As we have said before, we shall see. Oh, and incase anyone is wondering, it will be streaming on Apple TV which is the only streaming service I don’t have lol. Guess I’ll be renting it on iTunes.

Oh good it's "purely" a US release, and they're strict about billing addresses VPN be damned.

Just as well I have this ranch in Montana that I've never lived in, and haven't been within 800 miles of it Wink

Well what's the verdict belly content wise for anyone that managed to watch it?

Didn't manage myself to get access through the paid channels ...and haven't seen it on the high seas (not surprised on that front given its obscurity)

I discovered the movie is not on Apple TV+ despite Google showing it to be. The only place you can get it is on iTunes, $4.99 rental and $9.99 to buy it. I chose the rental option. I'll report back here after I've had a chance to watch it.

You are credit to team, it's also on Google Play Movie and Vudu.

Almost got through on the Google side ....but PayPal was region blocked... some battles just aren't worth fighting.

Curious, it appears that where it is available for streaming depends on region. Honestly I hate region foolishness and VPN hassles. Everything should be available no matter what part of the world. Let adults decide if they want to watch something or not.

So how’s the movie, worth anything?
Nope12
Seen it, nothing is gonna beat “The Expecting” when it comes to horror pregnancy in my opinion. Barely any belly, maybe 10 seconds max and it’s so obviously fake. Not worth it.
