Just watched the movie last night (well if you can count 2:00 am as last night) and here are my thoughts on the pregnancy content for the most part. The movie is good (surprisingly and unsurprisingly) but we know what we’re here for.

The upside of it all from the very beginning is while Naomi’s character is a European prostitute stereotype that probably would fit better in raunchy teen comedy from ten years ago, her voice and dialogue is mostly a turn on even though she’s stating how pissed she is of her “big” belly getting in the way of her work. There’s even a few lines that alludes to her pregnancy cravings, I think.

"Only few freaks like the belly" “This stupid bump is costing me much money.”

The downside of it all is mostly because of Naomi Watts in many ways. One, her fake belly isn’t really that big or great for most of the film; starting at 5th months and carrying on into her eventual birth.

Two, most actresses like her needs to eat some for a role like this, not in the sense that she’s need to be morbidly obese but given that she’s pregnant and the only thing that has grown on her is a little smidgen of a belly that looks more like a gassy food baby brought to us by chipotle, something is wrong; the strip club scene was painful to watch.

Now say if she was as big as Hayden Panetteire, Debi Mazar, Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, or Amy Poehler (during their real pregnancies), or Gina Rodriguez, Christa Flanagan, and even Paz De La Huerta (fake pregnancies) this wouldn’t be much of an issue.

Lastly, even though her character is basically a hooker with a heart of gold and she still dresses pretty gaudy for most of her screen time you don’t see anything as exciting as you would “Jane The Virgin” or “Mad Max: Fury Road”; none of Katie Price’s or Britney Spears’ pregnancy “wardrobe” was on standby apparently.

The meme below sums up my disappointment in the film; even though one of the pictures in the meme is of an actual pregnant actress. But you get my point.

She might not real wearing a fake belly but Katie Price has poofed up her belly the way she looks pregnant again!

The girl wasn't masturbating unfortunately, but she was giving "birth." That view is a nice one though. I wouldn't mind seeing a view like that in the future, whether the girl in question is masturbating, eating a meal, or watching her contractions first hand.

I have download the film of Penelope Cruz Ma Ma. There are only a couple of good scene with her and the belly. She play the character of a lady with cancer who get pregnant.

I don't recall there being one. All in all it was a pretty disappointing movie.
