I just got this e-mail from YouTube. No notice whatsoever. I had just about two-and-a-half thousand videos in that favorites list, and now they’re all just gone. I didn’t even know entire playlists COULD be deleted. Is there any way to dispute this and restore my favorites?? Their Help Center, shockingly, was not very helpful.
   

WAIT. Those are videos in your PLAYLIST, not actually on your channel? And they still caused a community guideline strike possibly? Wow. I knew youtube was getting draconian but this is ridiculous. Yeah, I guess you can try to dispute it but, if most of those videos were of a sexual nature(more explicit than daily vlogs) then you might not win this one. Your best is to start over and make sure your playlist is PRIVATE. That way some moral busy body can't flag it again.

Thanks Orta, I think that’s what I’m gonna have to do. I don’t think YouTube would ever side with me on this one (a lot of the videos were wholesome, but a decent chunk were camgirls and non-nude cuts of porn videos). Boy, irony is a bitch. About a month ago I thought about making my Favorites private, but thought, “Nah, I’m sure it’ll be fine.” Insert Homer Simpson “D’OH!!” here. -.-“

In a world where YouTube takes down ASMR videos for sexual content, despite not containing anything even remotely sexual, stuff like this is going to happen.
