I feel bad because she looks so frail. I was curious to see if anybody knew what was going on. The original article had mentioned that she needed about $10,000 to go see a specialist but didn't list a link to donate. Hopefully the attention she has been getting from the news will be enough to fix her up.

I've always wanted to post this here, but as she's not actually pregnant I never did. I found her a few years ago, she has cystic fibrosis which causes her... liver? to be very swollen all the time. It's of course uncomfortable at times and a pain to deal with, but she was doing very well in life, so it didn't seem to be holding her back.

One example I'm thinking of but can't find right now is a US woman 20-30 years ago that had a ~150lb tumor removed. It started on one of her ovaries and grew out of control for years. The woman knew that something was wrong, but was terrified of doctors and wasn't in any pain so she never got it checked out. By the time a family member convinced her to get it checked out she couldn't even reach around her stomach.

There is something simular to what happens to these women that I'm surprised hasn't been posted here: phantom pregnancy. Basically: your brain things ur pregnant & ur boobs & belly get bigger & you get huge fast & eventually "give birth". A girl like that was on the Dr. Phil show. I know a girl like that, only had 1 pregnancy (funny story) & since she was 14: her belly was either twin, triplet or quad sized (with an outie belly button) & her belly would stay big from anywhere from a few days to a few months.

Generally ones suffering from inflammation usually experience a lot of discomfort and pain. The more rapid the displacement it, the less time the body has to adapt.
