Well, first things first, congrats to your wife being this wanting for more, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. We have to think about logistics of all this before we can decide. Can you afford another child in the family?

Understandable. I can relate. You just have to ask yourself if the few months of pregnancy fun-time are worth another however-many-years of, as you put it, "prison" as the child grows up. I think you should trust your initial reaction, as that is probably more what you really want.

My opinion maybe is slightly over the board. Maybe you can still enjoy the whole 9 months funtime pregnancy without feel burden by making your wife doing surrogacy. Anyhow, is your wife wants another baby or is she just horny to pregnant?

I dare say a very high percentage of women asking for another one want a baby and aren’t ‘horny to be pregnant’, real life isn’t a fetish porno.

Agreed. It does happen, yes, but it's more likely she simply wants another child.

Oh, and surrogacy... my partner is 7 weeks through her first right now and I've got to be honest, it has been about 5% sexy and 95% miserable. I'm sure it'll get better in the second trimester when a lot of the medical chores go away, but surrogacy is not something you do for fun! Fun to fantasize about but it's a lot to deal with.

I can only imagine the divorce after I suggest to be a surrogate....

Yeah, not for the faint of heart. Don't get me wrong, it's a dream come true for me and I'm very fortunate, but it's still challenging. I'd just let that thought drift away!

I think your best bet is to enjoy preggo content and not increase the size of your family since you seem to be unhappy with small children, but it is a discussion for you and your wife to have. Just don't let the fetish influence you - very important!

If money is not a factor then the big considerations here should be:

1. Would you even want a third kid at all? If the answer is no then the pregnancy is not worth it, full stop.
2. With your current kids, think about what age you will be when they grow up, move out of the house, etc. What age is too late to become an empty nester? If you were to have a third kid, when would they need to be born before you reach that age?
3. How long since your youngest was born? 9 months of pregnancy for a 2-3 year delay of your "freedom" could be a worthwhile trade, but maybe not so worthwhile if it's 5-6 years.
