I have seen quite a few people on this site who download videos from members who have bought vids and I am wondering are the ones who do that just freeloaders or are alot of the members of this site poor and can't afford them or both

The train of thought you are seeking is "Why pay for something when I can get it for free?" Not saying it's right or wrong, it's just the way it is.

Sense of entitlement. They act like porn should be free and will have a tantrum over having to pay or even trade. It's the main reason I stopped sharing videos a long time ago. You upload a drive and one of the first comments is always "do you have more". Like no, fuck off. If it's not in the drive then I'm either don't have it, or I'm not going to share it. It just comes off as dealing with ungrateful moochers.

You can't even talk about buying a video or asking for recommendations without someone asking if you're going to share it. It's just greediness at that point.

As someone who doesn’t share their collection solely because I don’t feel like it’s worthy of being shared, I can say worrying about having videos I share copied/posted elsewhere and potentially losing out on (already minimal) trade value is a big factor. Sure, my collection might not be the craziest or biggest, but I’d prefer to keep any sort of trading value.

When anything is paid, there's bound to be a black market for it. Pirating has become more popular as stuff has gone up in price and the internet has risen. Also, with the cost of living going up across America, it makes pirating more appealing. Not saying it's the right thing to do but it is a thing to do. Best thing you can do rather than going around preaching about stopping pirating (which you can't successfully accomplish) is buying the content yourself.

I used to be a pretty big pirate/freeloader when I was young because I didn't have any money. These days, my career has done alright, so I've got some disposable income and am more comfortable buying stuff. It's really that simple.

However, I have also come to appreciate the effort of software developers, musicians, adult content creators, and so forth... so I kinda just like supporting them anyway.

I feel like it's less of whether or not you should pirate, and more of out of everyone here, less than 10% actually contribute anything. I don't see increasing pricing as a reasoning for this case since people have been doing it even before Covid. Guys are comfortable spending hundreds on private cam shows or customs. This site isn't the small niche community it once was, and it's staring to show when the majority is just sitting there waiting for their daily feeding.

The only time I purchase content is if it is something I want bad enough in which case I will gladly part with the cash. Money is definitely the factor when it comes to purchasing anything online or in an actual brick and mortar store.

When it comes to porn content there is a considerable amount available for free on the internet and most people likely make the rationalization that paying for porn is ridiculous when you can get it for free.

Seriously if porn was just a click away back in the day when I was a young guy I would have been in heaven. This current generation doesn’t know how lucky they are to have the power of the internet.
