It has been my belief that no one should be kink shamed or labeled negatively in here for how they perv on pregnant women yet it happens. When a person calls another a “creep” it means they are behaving in a manner that makes others uncomfortable. A guy who hangs around laundromats waiting to steal women’s panties would be called a “creep.” Another example would be a peeping Tom who looks through women’s bedroom windows. Even guys who take candid pics and video of women will fall into this category when being judged by the extremely righteous.

The question is here: where is the damage done if someone creeps/stalks on an individual preggo or many in their lifetime? Enabling such acts might later encourage escalation. Why so many of us get upset no matter if we take candids or not is whether the pregnant woman in question found out, was constantly harassed, or put in harm's way because of someone's behavior. That is why I motivate people to have a "look, don't touch" methodology to candids, social media, or the case of someone simply trying to talk to a preggo. It is important that we keep in mind our posture, how we look, and our speech when we are with anyone really. This just ties into harassment of women in any case, preggo or not. Calling out someone for breaking laws is not "kink-shaming", it is calling someone out for their selfish wrongdoing. I generally believe people can say whatever the hell they want on here, because of anonymity. Yet, you can tell when someone is taking a step too far. Many of us step in to offer some perspective not because we want to shame people for how they think, but it is to prevent potential harm coming themselves or preggos in their community. I wouldn't say that people who frown upon candids are extremely righteous. Everyone must put themselves in the shoes of the pregnant woman, who might notice or not at all. If she does and thinks that the perpetrator has a pregnancy fetish, what does that also do to us? It causes generalizations that we have seen in the media that all maiesiophiles willingly stalk/creep on women.

I don't think it is difficult to see the problems that arise from this conduct. And that is why, like I said earlier, to be as covert as possible when you are taking candids. Don't bother them, and especially don't go talk to them if you were taking candids. I think situational context is of paramount importance here. Some guys follow preggos endlessly for hours in their day just to get some videos or pics. The worst case scenario happened to a poster here when he was questioned by Target's security. It is much easy to have a short conversation with a preggo than actually following them around a store. Just act normal and almost ignore the belly until she mentions it. Just be polite, respectful, and considerate like you would be to anyone else. The belly is not cause for intimidation nor is it justification to harass.

All I offer is just a re-connection with reality here for people who think willingly annoying, harassing, or harming pregnant women is justified in that they feel desire for such. We all have had these thoughts at some point and think about whether we can pull it off without being caught. Doing something deviant and succeeding causes dopamine to be released. That feeling of success, but shouldn't we break it down and realize what just happened? I would much rather have people vent on this site rather than attempt to get their jollies in a way that violates a woman's privacy or safety.

I’m of the mindset that creepers are people who are so self-important they’ll find a way to justify their horrible actions, regardless of the outcome. When they want something, they want it right then. Here, the creepers are the people who practically harass pregnant women online with comments like “You're so hot” or “I wanna cum all over that belly” on a picture that implies no sexual content

Right.  It could not just be pregnant women, it could be all kinds of women  A few years back I went for a ride along with my brother and we got a called about a guy who was filming a group of girls on the train, and even following them off the train, into the parking lot.  The whole ride back to the station and the whole ride to the jail he kept trying to justify his actions.

So you're basically admitting to having zero interest in the feelings of the women you're making uncomfortable, great

stop throwing around this "kink shaming" bullshit; it's a copout for those trying to justify their own shitty, creepy, stalkery, disrespectful behaviour. if my "kink" was staring at women at taco bell while they eat, creeping them out in the process, then that somehow justifies it? just stop.

and stop calling others "righteous" because some of us have some respect for women. you're no better than the channers who throw around the term "white knight".

this is why you're on my ignore list.

"Creep" is entirely dependant on the feelings of the person being creeped on. If you are doing stuff that makes other people uncomfortable when you could reasonably avoid doing those things, thats creepy.

Having a desire is separate from this. One can have creepy desires without being a creep if they do not act on them. Taking video of someone without their consent has potential to be creepy because it's a violation of privacy. If you would feel gross about feeling filmed without your consent, it's probably a good idea to avoid taking videos of people without their consent. Simple as that.

In short, creepiness is about action, not someones desires or fetish. I won't kinkshame anybody for their desires alone. I will definitely tell someone to stop if they repeatedly take actions that violate someone else's consent.
