honestly, getting tattoos of spouses/partners (regardless of whether name or portrait) is a bad idea. i've seen too many people do it, and then they're stuck with it when the relationship collapses down the line. 

mind you, i've no idea how long you two have been together, or if you have tattoos in the first place. for all i know, you may be all sleeved up, and already have ink celebrating your wife already.

you may be better of just getting a really nice series of photos printed on archival quality stock, and nicely framed and mounted with UV glass, done instead.
