I have been sitting on a massive collection of videos and pictures from pretty much all social media, candids, etc from at least 4 years. 

The collection is only getting bigger but I am running out of space and want to upload. But I want to do it as privately as possible, especially since I have a lot of candids. 

So what’s the best way to upload all that? Along with downloading Instagram photos and  editing pictures, because I have several thousand bookmarked on insta. 

Let me know so I can start posting this stuff!

You have many options, the most used clouds are gdrive and mega. But you have to buy space if you want more (or create multiple accounts)

If it`s just sitting in your PC hard drive, i think google photos would be good solution for uploading it all at once. I have been using it to save my collection for a long time.

Yeah I’ll probably just do gdrive. As far as privacy goes though can’t people find out your location through video files? 
something about EXIF files or geo locations. 
Don’t wanna upload anything if there’s a chance it comes back to me IRL.

The vast majority of it is on my phone. Also, I need a way to download all the bookmarked pics I have on insta.

Do not do gdrive if you plan on keeping this backup. Google will ban your content faster than you can say preggophilia. Your best bet is using mega or try using spam which is most secure, but the drawback is that file size limit is 1.5gb per file. If you have files smaller than 1.5gb then I'd suggest spam.. simply upload everything to your saved section within spam. Anyways stay very far from Google.

And shouldn't this be on the Open Discussion / Chat section instead of the Video section, you know the section that is all about posting videos?

Make one incredibly long, interminable thread where you just dump hundreds of pictures with zero context, categorization, or description, simply writing "more" at the top of each post.

Wait, fucking don't do that, almost everyone else does and it sucks.

I would be cautious with using MEGA as well. A user here recently in a now deleted post had his entire Mega account/drive banned and reported to the authorities over alleged "Child Exploitation"

   

As well as other instances of drives shutting down due to ToS breach with paid content.
