I was just thinking about how fetish/kink communities worked before the internet really took off. What was it like having this fetish back in the 70s? Did people with this kink just have way more kids than normal? Did they have their own magazines or did you just hope it'd show up in more mainstream porno mags? Pregnant women have become so much more visible now, everyone posts belly pics now! I think there must be cycles of ultra acceptance and then periods of ultra conservative where pregnant women feel safer covered up. Depends on how society treats women. If we’re not being treated nicely or feel in danger every time we go outside like in some countries even today then it’s less likely you’re gonna find women walking around with their big pregnant bellies on display. We need to feel safe in our communities to feel proud to show off that we’re bringing new life into the world.

That’s just one opinion though. I’m sure every woman feels differently about their bodies and I know for me I love it and don’t mind my belly being out there in my clothes. I want people to see me a little bit. But I’m not into filling my Instagram with pics, you gotta see me on this site or with your own eyes Lol

To speak to your questions about the fetish materials back then I think it was more hush hush stuff, since pregnant women were still not to be touched due to their delicate condition. I’m not sure though I don’t ever remember seeing many pregnant naked women in older movies growing up. I think that comes from the very conservative religious society of North America. Maybe in other cultures like more tribal cultures you would have found pregnant women being worshipped back in the 70s. I think you’d see a lot more pregnant women in National Geographic at that time! Again just an opinion!

Christianity esp Catholicism has the Virgin Mary to hold pregnancy and maternity (and parenting and family) in high regard or it depends on what millennia and century after the last 2,000 years of veneration?

The 1950's was clearly the most prudish era in recent memory of anyone alive in the USA that hurts women at a time "I never saw a pregnant woman at a grocery store" and this was when 5-6 kids were the norm during the "baby boom". My own Mom (she passed away last year) doesn't have memories of grandma pregnant when she was age 6 and she learned about the subject "where babies come from" in her pre-teens in the early 1960s. How can a very religious society advocate a large number of progeny while expressing discomforting views of pregnancy because "I don't wanna know how babies are made"? 

I agree with you right there, but she has the right to show (or not to) with people outside her immediate family or circle of friends, I just don't believe in shaming nor prohibiting their bellies from ever getting touched.

And it had to be California where I lived (from my parents' memories) in the late 1960s-early 1980s of a new small subculture of baby boomers and 30-somethings wanted to have an "echo boom", this time, women want to show their changed bodies to whoever they want. The revolutionary social Liberalism has changed the American cultural landscape ever since, thanks to feminism, humanism, egalitarianism, libertarianism and secularism, pregnancy should be a time for celebration and excitement, a better understanding of women/people's bodies during pregnancy...and to end the stupid puritan biblical taboo already, please!

This was the only one I watched thus far and it was a good watch. Beforehand, I only watched a version that had no audio except music but it was still a nice relic to find regardless.
