a) Bump a 3-year-old thread.
b) Possibly assume a poster named Mark is a girl and congratulate him on his triplets.
c) Add nothing substantive to the thread.

Edit: I misread the post, he might not have mistaken Mark for a girl. Still, the point stands.

Can we please set ban rules for people who necro?

Well necros can be good in some circumstances where maybe new content is posted such as a celebrity getting pregnant again, therefor being able to access all content from one thread. But 90% of the time its just a doofus replying to ancient threads stating they like stuff or they want moar.

Imo, the ONLY acceptable reason to necro a thread is if YOU YOURSELF ARE ADDING NEW CONTENT.

If you absolutely must ask for updates, send a PM to the original poster, don't revive a thread that's older than your smartphone.
