I was just thinking that having a Torrent’s on here would make it easier to Share Collections and Video’s.

Definitely agree, would make it a lot easier.
But there is the obvious risk of people potentially trying to infect other member's computers with viruses.
So I doubt this will come to fruition.

Malware can easily be spread by way of filesharing, no matter the protocol. All it takes to avoid system loss is a dash of common sense, solid AV (if applicable), and good backups. Personally I find torrents to be easier to create and distribute, not to mention more robust since the torrent protocol is, by nature, distributed. As long as SOMEBODY has the file and is seeding, anyone can have it.
