I get a sense that women would walk around in public naked if it wasn't illegal to do so. They love wearing clothing that acts like second skin. Ooof, those yoga pants are so damn tight they defeat the purpose of wearing clothing.

Are wedding rings even still a thing? Seems to me some people nowadays are not as serious about the old marriage formalities as people were years ago.

Well she's cleaning her car out. Last thing she wants is to have it sucked up in the vac lol. Plus having swollen fingers from being heavily pregnant is also a good reason to not wear one.

It was hit or miss even back then. Workers were losing their fingers due to their rings getting snagged on something or cutting off circulation after a blunt hit. The fear of losing it or getting robbed also led to many men just leaving it at home or stuffing it in their wives jewelry box. Although since the mid 20th century more men have been wearing rings out in public than previously. But paying thousands of dollars for a martial status may or may not be everyone's cup of tea.
