Bigger bellies, bigger breasts, bigger hips and thighs, etc.: these are common to both preggos and bbw's and they signify that a woman can carry and nourish children. At least, that's what the caveman part of our brain thinks.
In reality, though, overweight and obese women are more likely to have fertility problems, which makes it ironic that preggos and fat/chubby women are often lumped together in fetish communities.

i guess my brain is wired oddly, because i equate "BBws"/fat/obese women with being unhealthy, and therefore possessing undesirable traits to be passed on genetically. fat rolls, mounds of flesh, stretch marks, and cellulite do nothing for me, and it's rare i'm attracted to overweight women. 

a rare example of a chubby/overweight woman i find attractive would be crysta from stuffer31; she's proportionate, has a really cute face, and doesn't look like a blobfish (unlike a lot of the women over on stufferdb... ugh, that place is a aberration).

There was a spanish language variety show years ago called "Sabado Gigante" or "Giant Saturday." There was a game played between couples, where a women would be covered in balloons, and men would try to pop them all n an allotted period of time, and the first woman to be revealed would indicate the winning pair. I was very young, but remember feeling excited every time I would watch the segment. At around the same time period, I recalled watching Willy Wonka, and the scene of Violets' transformation really excited me. I was very young. At around that time, I would notice some of my teachers or other women I would recognize from frequenting stores or friends of my parents would begin to grow and round out in the belly. For me, it's almost as if it was a gradual evolution culminating in a pregnancy fetish, and I also began to notice gainer stuff as well, but mostly when the feeder/gainer gains in a way that makes them look kinda pregnant. I still prefer the pregnancy stuff, though, and never been into fat chicks/bbw.
