Not justifying the other things you said at all, but I believe the point of the rule is so people don’t go and harass these women online. At the end of the day, it is not very difficult at all for anyone to go on Tiktok and find these girls anyway, so I don’t know why everyone kicks up such a fuss about not sharing names. Regardless, I’ve already been messaging @BigBellyFan7 and as he said he is going to share all her videos once she pops soon anyway. So for now just enjoy the photos and you’ll get some videos soon enough without risking some of the more unhinged members of our community making her uncomfortable.

My 2¢ on the matter is that the de facto rule discrepancy between this thread and the much larger, far more long-running parent thread on the General Videos board is a bit jarring. The cat is way out of the bag over there - really, it's more like an innumerable litter - when it comes to effectively sharing profile links in that thread due to the fundamental nature of TikTok. Speaking as someone who has gone to great lengths to maximally protect the privacy of some of his favorite finds, a degree of leakage is inevitable but that doesn't necessarily defeat the entire purpose of a barrier.

I argue that we shouldn't have a blatant double standard on TikTok, most members should be able to exercise their best judgment, and provided one is capable of replacing 2 "x"'s with "t"'s in a URL, they should have the brainpower to resist telling some random woman on a social media app how much they want to ejaculate all over her big, sexy belly.

I guess as someone who doesn't frequent general videos that much at all compared to other sections I don't really notice the disparity between the lack of enforcement there and in threads like this one. I can definitely see the logic behind your arguments (and people of similar perspectives) but also understand the opinions of the admins. At the end of the day I'll just follow the rules until/if they are changed, I guess that is something to talk to the higher ups about if people feel passionately enough about it.

And to be honest (this part isn't directed at you in particular SPL) all the people constantly bugging about getting the name sort of makes me less likely to want to do so anyway

If a poster wants to post a profile link or direct source, let them. If a poster wants to post content but conceal their source, let's let the staff enforce that too. You say "most members" can use good judgment, and maybe that's true, but this rule isn't geared toward most members. If the new rule prevents some low-effort lurkers from finding a profile and fucking things up, it's a win IMO.

We exempted TikTok from the no-sharing-profiles rule because the site didn't support videos and therefore it wouldn't have been practical to share things. Now that the site supports short-form MP4s/WEBMs, we'd encourage members to embrace this and upload videos directly when it's practical/feasible to do so. Drives are fine too of course, but the attachment system is now the best option because it will be here forever (unlike drives.) If there are a ton of clips and a drive is more practical, that's still fine too.

This a transitional period. If you're in a position to conceal the identity/profile of a TikTok find, and if it's practical, please do that. If not, providing direct links is still okay, but only for TikToks. We want to balance practicality with the well-established rule against sharing links/profiles on all other social media platforms.

Basically, let's get in the habit of uploading clips here over linking and drives. @BigBellyFan7, if you're open to attaching a few of the videos as a sort of preview, in addition to the drive, that would be really cool. We're very eager to see how well video-hosting goes for us -- site performance, member engagement, etc.

PS - These rules have nothing to do with legality @TheCollector. I've also edited your post -- don't derail the thread into other subjects. They're about protecting privacy and also avoiding a loss of access (creeps posting messages and girls shutting off their profiles).
PPS - @Jambyelfav00 was suspended because @PatricksPrivate7 is clearly going out of his way to share stuff while also protecting the person's identity/profile. It's pretty obvious that he was aiming to creep.

I hope the vids are tag free & HD. I don't do tiktok tags. I only use people's google drives or megas if someone has YT or "other" vids. I'm kinda old fashioned where I like to download stuff myself then put if in 1 of my online drives.
