(June 17, 2023, 12:35 am)zerozerozero The hash value is there so you can download the zip file, compute the hash, and compare it to the hash value posted in the drive to ensure that the file you're downloading is the same one DI uploaded. Unless, of course, the theoretical attacker who maliciously altered the zip also recomputed the value and replaced the file with the new value but at some point you just have to decide to trust random files on the internet.

I've got all of the video hash files in the Mega drive. I wasn't so good about keeping the photo hashes for my other thread.
