There is something about being pregnant that I find so empowering and beautiful. Not everyone feels this way and that is ok. I just feel like a beautiful goddess who grows humans. I love the pregnancy curves. Feeling my body grow and feeling this little babe move and stretch. Even on those days where I’m breaking out and I’m tired, I feel like a goddess. I feel so strong being able to carry my babies and bring them into the world. I feel so mentally and emotionally stronger thanks to my great support system at home. I’m looking forward to being able to have a different birthing experience in my own home and being able to birth the way my body is supposed to without unnecessary interventions or being under pressure because I’m on someone else’s time. A woman’s body is beautiful and there is no right or wrong way to birth but I want to do it with keeping my dignity and at my own pace (safely of course). I do plan on writing about my experiences with having a midwife and birthing at home in my blog when the time comes and I’m so excited to share my personal experiences to those who want to know and learn.

She looks better after each pregnancy, and she gets hotter the further along she gets. Damn. It's like she has magic genes that just make her bloom when she's pregnant.
