I've only done this one time, and it was with a teacher of mine. It took a long time time build up courage to ask, but it was great when it happened. I started off by just by having a normal conversation and asking her how she was doing. Usually when I hear women talk about this happening, it's all negative. Mostly bc it's coming from random strangers or they say some weird shit while they're touching them. So if you aren't doing this with just random preggos you see on the street and you have at least average people skills, I don't think it'd be a huge deal. I asked to touch someone's belly, and it went over well since she was a teacher and this was close to the end of the semester so we already knew each other pretty well and if it went badly we wouldn't have to see each other very much.
