Hey folks,

So while browsing my usual subreddit haunts, I came across an app with the express singular purpose of babymaking. It's called 'Just A Baby', and it runs similarly to Tinder, except in the regard of what people want, and what they have to give. So, there are some people looking for donations, and others looking for co-partner/parenting dealios. And if you're 'donating,' you list off whether you're donating sperm, eggs, or a womb.

It's a neat little concept, and I got a bite or two before I got cold feet and deleted the app. Not really for me right now, but I figured it may be for some other folks out there or at least an interesting conversation piece, given the nature of this website.

They don't tolerate being creepy, though. So be wary of how you choose to communicate.

Seems like a mix between a Sperm Bank and e-Harmony while coming off as a last resort for desperate people wanting a baby.

Eh...seems pretty specific to me. I checked it out myself. Yes, there are women out there looking for a complete stranger willing to get them pregnant. Some even pay you once the pregnancy is confirmed. Most only want your sperm but with some you can be involved during and after the pregnancy if you want. They prefer doing things "this way" to get out of having to pay for IVF more often than not.

Interesting app, wonder if there is an app for women who are single and pregnant and looking for a partner?

After using the app for a couple days, my girlfriend has decided to delete it for now. The vast majority of people on there seem to be single men just looking to impregnate someone with no strings attached ("bulls"). There were also a lot of VERY young couples who really had no business seeking reproductive assistance so early in their lives/relationships. There were a few gay couples that interested her but they must not really be paying attention because they never matched/replied. All in all, she didn't have a great experience and it kinda seemed like all these people should have just been on Tinder.

...Yep, I noticed this too when I scouted the App.

It reminded me of CraigsList Personals' Casual Encounters Sub Category. You also gotta be careful some of 'em are fakes, too.



Anywho, clearly Apps better suited to what many of us are looking for would be best. More than likely, someone will have to make one or two though.
