Soooooo, since this is built along the same vein as the original game in this thread, I'm going to make it a bump.

I finally sat down and cranked out some fixes to my version of this idea, and it should be workable now. A few words of caution:
  • For what skill I have in coding/programming, I definitely lack in the creative writing process. Don't expect Spielberg here. I'll eventually add "variations" of what is already there so it isn't as repetitive, if I don't get too busy to work on it again.
  • The story line is very simple at the moment, I really just wanted to prove my concept that I could pull it off, with all the different options and timing related things.
  • While I appreciate the original Teen Sim that was here and enjoy the recent HTML games, the TG portions at the beginning have never been for me - I tend to skip pretty quickly through those, so there's not any of that in here.
  • I had at one time intended on trying to implement the "visualizer" that was mentioned in this thread (Post #42) but that appears to be just as gone as the original Teen Sim... I have the JS and original PNG files but I don't think I can do anything with them without extra components. Any other suggestions on how I might be able to visualize this would be appreciated. I can put images into the form, but I don't know if I want to just pull a bunch of random pictures from the interwebs that don't really match. Kinda takes you outta the game, IMO.
  • This is currently a text "story window" and some buttons, and currently it kinda drones on with only a handful of options. This will improve, and you can help if you have any suggestions, I'll take them under advisement.
  • I'm most fluent in VB coding and never really got heavy into any others, which is odd considering I took and passed C++ classes in college with flying colors.
  • That being said... As this is written in a computer language, not an "internet" language, it isn't browser based. I've linked to a zip file - unzip it and run "Setup" - don't worry, it's not actually going to install anything obvious. It may, however, want to install .NET framework. There's not much I can do about this, sorry. This is also currently only Windows only.
You start out entering college as an attractive 18 year old. Meet your roommate, party a lot, get knocked up (as your period allows - there is a fairly accurate cycle from Aunt Flo), and end up with not a lot to do after that for 9 months. Again, definitely looking to add more storylines to it, and since there is an accurate "date" system, I could easily add things like going home for breaks, thanksgiving dinner (stuffing yourself silly?) etc, just not things I've gotten around to because as I said, a creative writer I am not.

In addition to the accurate calendar and period cycle, there is a fairly complex system that determines when you get sex, whether it results in a pregnancy, how many babies there are, etc. I will probably make some adjustments to the likelihood of things happening, but it's all workable right now. It's not as noticeable now without visualization but also, if you manage to party a lot early on without getting pregnant your tummy does still grow, so it would be fun to see that happen in the future - it works into some story elements, but seeing it happen would be cool. Butt and Breasts would be cool too. Things to work on I guess.

You can click the dropdown at the bottom where it says Mode and change it to Debug if you like - this adds a status bar which shows some of the data used including the random number generator results. It will give away the "surprise" of being knocked up though... Which you should really find out through the story.

It's not nearly the writing caliber of the HTML games posted recently, but it's something. Let me know what you think.

Instead of random pics, I could render a 3D model of mine for you at different pregnancy stages....

Previous version i loved the money system and for this reason you need find work

How can I run this? I cannot get this to run.
LovePreggies
Nvm, I got it to work.
I would love to see some of those visuals, maybe a side view as well as a POV shot as if I am actually the girl in the story.
insanelover88
Like everyone else has said, I'd love to see some visuals to show the progressions of the pregnancy. The money system from the original Simulator was good, but broken as you could never generate enough money and the game didn't give you any reason to continue to work. There were scenes written while working which were good! But pretty good for making this up from scratch! Looking forward to some updates hopefully!
