While we're at it, Way123, you don't have to do anything with a video you paid for. But holding it back for trades is stupid. If everyone shared, there wouldn't be any need to hoard anything. And honestly? No one made you pay for a video. If you jerks are as right as you claim, there's "plenty of free content here already". Don't make it everyone else's problem that you paid a lot for a video.

1. Neither. Trading does not make you a "greedy" person. If two kids are trading Pokemon cards, are you going to call them greedy when they don't share with their other friends?

The only good point you brought up is number three, which is why this is my last post in this topic. You and your trade-crazy friend can continue to flame all you want, but I'm done replying after this.

The primary difference between trading Pokemon cards and content is that you can own Pokemon cards. Under no circumstances do you own this content, you just happened to have it available. This community was created to share, not create a trade consortium where snobs such as yourself feel entitled to only give content when you receive content in exchange. That isn't what this place is for.

Look to posters like andy789, quasa2, and too many others to name. They post content. They don't get miserly and say "I'll trade x for y". They just do it, because they're awesome contributing members of this forum.

That is why I say you're wrong. But at the end of the day, you and Simbasprime are not going to change your mind about being dickheads, so I'll just leave it at that to preserve the sanity of the topic. I encourage you to do the same if you have any basic sense of decency, but I'm sure I'll see at least two more posts on here about why I'm so stupid for expecting a content sharing site to share content.

Please bring this debate of sorts into another section, or do PM each other to settle your disagreements. If you're not sharing or reviewing a video, I do not recommend bogging up the thread under General Videos. Also, according to site rules, this is a place where you post video content, not debate about trades: that's under the Requests Section. However, I do understand that the earlier debacle is with someone not turning their PM on so that's fine.
Way123 rightfully owns the content that he got/paid for and has the autonomy to do whatever he wants with it, and any comments and reviews should be resolved privately.
