What sort of updates? If a member has new content and wants to let the community know, they can make a post here. I'm less knowledgeable about the drive service than others, but it might be possible to "follow" individual drives and receive updates that way.

So far the thread is going quite well and this will probably serve as a replacement for the main drive.
