When I date girls or even evaluate a potential date that I go on, It literally crosses my mind how they will look pregnant one day. Call it weird, but I literally find myself screening out girls that I believe will look like shit once they're knocked up. For instance, short girls who look like they put on a ton of weight easy will blow up like ticks and I don't find that sexy at all. Girls that are too tall I assume are small preggos so again, turn off (however look at Heidi Klum and Jenna Elfman both tall and got huge) My question is is there a certain way to measure this at a glance, I feel like women between 5'4 and like '5'7 tend to look way hotter especially of they are hot to begin with. Thoughts?

This definitely isn't weird.... I'm sure most of us on here do the same thing. And to a broader extent most guys, even non-fetish ones, "size-up" potential mates. A good friend of mine jokes all the time about only dating women that will look good "after they pop out a few kids," as he says. As shallow as it all sounds, most men have that hope to be with someone whose looks hold up as long as possible, and for us that obviously includes DURING pregnancy. I do the same thing as you, I think of how every girl I date will look if she gets pregnant, but I don't think that I select girlfriends based solely on that. Also, I actually prefer shorter women, and think they have some of the best potential to get enormous, at least from what I've personally seen. I don't think they have any more tendency to "blow up like ticks" (great term lol), than any other women do. But to answer your question a little bit --- there is no real way to tell from a glance how a woman will look when she's pregnant, because each woman will gain weight differently, and their uterus will all grow differently. The one thing I've heard is that height doesn't matter at all, but torso length can be somewhat of an indicator - a woman with a longer torso MIGHT end up carrying small, and a short torso MIGHT end up carrying huge. But again, there are so many other factors, that it's not a sure thing by any means. In the end, just pick a girl that you're attracted to, and chances are, you'll still be very attracted to her when she eventually gets pregnant.

I also laughed at "blow up like ticks" -- awesome.

ShotGlass covered it pretty well. In general, a smaller torso will inevitably result in less space internally, thus forcing the uterus outwards. You'll often hear "I didn't even look pregnant til the last month!" from women with long torsos; there's plenty of room in there unless she's petite. Petite girls will often look like someone just tacked a uterus onto them and put a shirt over it. Yummmmm.
Belly Button
I must admit that this is something that I 'weigh up' in my own mind too. I accept that this may come across as being shallow but without actually wanting to publicly admit it face to face, I think this is perfectly natural to do so. Most times I see a woman's bare belly on show, one of my first thoughts is how it would swell when pregnant and how her belly button would change. I've had these thoughts since my very early teens.

The only thing that I can say that seems to be common is that women with smaller, tighter waistlines to begin with, tend to have the better shaped and more defined bumps. Women with such figures also tend to show slightly earlier as indeed, there was less room within them to physically hide what's happening within. Women with a little more fat around them have that extra to 'absorb' the swelling to begin with and often don’t really show later as a result. Another difference I've seen is that this extra 'fat' (I hate using that term, but I’m sure you know I don't mean that in a nasty way) tends to mean 'lumpier' looking pregnant bellies where the skin doesn't quite pull tight and as a result, looks both overweight and pregnant at the same time...

When it comes to the woman's size, again, I think the factor of how their figures were to begin with plays a part. What I will say is that I work with a lady (early thirties) who had her first born just over two years ago. She's very small - only around 5" 2'. She had a reasonable, shapely figure before pregnancy. Not a figure of a model by any means - maybe a size or two up from that. She did end up with a very large bump at the end and it all seemed to come in the final six weeks or so where she did literally blow up like a barrage balloon! Two years on, it’s clear to see that whilst she’s got her nice hips and rear end back, there’s still some baby fat around the front of her belly. She’s certainly chunkier than what she was.

As already stated in the other posts though, every pregnancy is different and all sorts of surprises can crop up from generalised assumptions. Yes, I certainly include mine in that...!

Well I happended to ask my partner if shed want to get pregnant very early into our relationship, partly because she already has children. At 5'2 a size 10 with a bit of a belly from her previous pregnancies, she has balooned to a size 12 in maternity clothes and her bump looks and feels amazing. You can tell she is pregnant from behind too by the way she walks

I've always been slender and tall (5ft 8in). With my last pregnancy (I delivered almost 7 months ago), I gained a lot of weight but breastfeeding has helped me lose the majority of the weight. Before my two kids, I wore size 5 in jeans, after my first was a 9, then was an 11 after my youngest, now back to 8-9 and more than likely pregnant again. How big a woman gets during pregnancy doesn't determine how big she'll be afterwards, especially if she's breastfeeding (which should be highly encouraged to ensure the health of both mom and baby). At the end of my last pregnancy, I weighed 195 lbs, now I'm 150.

As long as their not fat already. Anything over 200 before the baby is just wrong! If they can afford to eat they can lose weight. Fat women do t know their pregnant. IDGAS bow much they weigh as long as their not like Fat Albert. 1 YT user looks more fat then preg. The shortest I've seen is 5'2. I have yet to see anyone 6 feet.
