Is there a way to search for stuff with certain phrases? Whenever I search “bare belly”, it does show me posts that have those words in it. But it also shows other posts that have those words but not together. So I was wondering if there was a way were I could search for posts with a phrase like “bare belly” and it’s not separate. Sorry if this is confusing.

This is a great suggestion.

But yes, I agree, not having a string option is a shortcoming. I'll look into a fix.

This change has been implemented. Would you mind testing it out @bellylover04 and letting me what you think? The search interval has been reduced to 30 seconds as well (and might be reduced further depending on performance.)

The upgraded search function allows for (1) strings to be searched by including double quotation marks "my search"; (2) multiple keywords, two or more, will only return results with all keywords, it's no longer an OR type search; and (3) an OR query can still be performed by including single quotation marks -- 'huge belly' will return anything containing huge OR belly. I'll expand on each of these below:

1) By including double quotes, "huge belly" will only return results with that specific string: "huge belly".
2) To conduct a search that isn't a string but includes all of your keywords, simply punch them into the search field (video belly huge). This will return titles or posts, depending on what you're querying, which would include all three of those terms in any order (video huge belly).
3) If you'd like to conduct an old-fashioned search that returns OR results, include a single quotation mark around the keywords. For example: 'huge belly' will display threads or posts containing either huge OR belly OR both in any order.

Please remember to select whether you want entire posts or just titles searched -- "Search entire post" is the default. Also, don't forget to specify your preferred display -- by default, results are displayed to include the title and the post. You can also show results as titles only by toggling this option (lower-right "Show Results as: threads posts").

So I tried it and ran into some issues. With the first method, it shows posts from the candids section, but none that have the string “bare belly”. With the second method, it works just fine and highlights the words I looked for. With the third method, I ran into the same problems with the first one where it shows posts from the candids section but no posts with either ‘bare’ or ‘belly’. I’ve included some images to show what I’m talking about.

And I’ve ran into another issue where the search function won’t allow for 3 letter words again like rub.

So I've figured this out. I can try to fix this for convenience. To search a string, the script requires these symbols "belly" rather than these symbols “belly”. Same with the single quotes ('belly' instead of ‘belly’).

If you copy and past this "bare belly" you'll see that it works. I'm not sure why the script is handling stylized quotes differently @bellylover04. I'll look into it, but in the meantime, this should fix it. Can you let me know how you make out?

I'll also look into reducing the lower-limit on characters (it is indeed set to 4+).

So in other words, the script requires straight quotation marks instead of curly quotation marks.

So I retried the first method with the straight double quotes and it works. But when I try the third method with the straight single quotes, it still doesn’t work.

Can you screenshot the search results for 'bare belly'?
