As someone who frequently checks the morphs section, I've noticed that especially recently the section has been inundated with request posts. I'm fine with people giving out ideas for morphs, but when the entire forum is basically just separate threads that never get any replies from people requesting that other people morph pictures that are largely unmorphable, I get kinda annoyed. I think there should be a restriction on request threads, maybe confine them to a separate subforum or a single thread, that way morph artists are free to post their own work without it being buried by requests.

I'm open to hearing your opinion on this.

You're right, that section is definitely a mess.

To start with, we'll make a point of merging/deleting threads from people who post over and over again across separate threads. I might also create a single thread for unmorphable requests and move the crappy requests there. You're right that many of the images obviously cannot be morphed.

What do you think of this as a starting point? We might create a single thread for requests, as you suggested. The only issue with this is that the morphs section is basically a requests section -- almost all of the morphs are responses to requests.

Also, it would helpful if morph artists replied to crappy requests, letting the member know his image isn't morphable. Be as blunt as possible.

I think that's a good starting point, I understand that most morphs come from requests and obviously they should be allowed. I'll also start letting people know which images aren't morphable and which ones are more often.

okay noted ...

On my part i tried to reduce the number of request in my asian girl request morph thread ... and only post morphable request and not to post further if there are no replies after a certain time ...

Sorry for messing up the thread

I don't really mean threads like yours, since you only have one thread and you provide a good amount of actually morphable pictures, even if some aren't always morphable. What I have an issue with is the people who make threads like "please morph my friend" and it's just a few low-quality Facebook images of randos that are extremely difficult to morph. That sort of thing.
