Hi all, I would love to arrange a monthly meetup, maybe just starting out with coffee once a month. I know it would probably be pretty much all guys at first, but maybe people will know people who know women that have this same interest.

Why do it? I'm all about meeting the opposite gender in real life, ie women, who share the same interests as we do ofc but it would also be cool to share ideas, thoughts, local resources, etc. The site has enough members where I bet we could get a handful of people to meet in major cities.

So, I would like to propose start in the major cities, ie NYC, LA, Chicago, etc, and do it once a month for an hour.

I'll start out by saying I'm in Los Angeles, so anyone one else in socal who sees this and is interested, reach out! Please share your ideas on this, too.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but I think this particular interest doesn't lend itself very well to social gatherings. I could be completely wrong. Just my opinion after ~15 years of involvement.

finderfact2012, it's not a bad suggestion. Unfortunately, the web has created mostly lurkers in forums. In fact, back in the old BBS days, weekly meetups was a thing and back then you could meet all sorts of people. I shared my love of breastfeeding with anyone who would listen and in those days no one had really heard of a guy wanting to suckle breasts for hours. These same people I met in the BBS chat rooms I eventually met at weekly meetups...most were women curious about my love of breasts and nursing. I did find a couple guys online who were as serious about breastfeeding as I am and it was great to share experiences and breastfeeding sightings with them. A couple of the guys and I continue to share sightings and stories to this day. As I was a road warrior for a time, I eventually met up with one of the guys in L.A. when I had a long term project there.

If I were you, I would concentrate on starting one in your area. Larger cities have a better chance of getting something like that going. The other thing you might want to try is finding a chat room for a virtual weekly/monthly meeting to start. That way people can get comfortable with each other and those who are interested but not in your area would be able to join in as well.
