Why are you only allowed to send 25 messages?

Private messages trigger email notifications for quite a few users. If done excessively, our server appears to exhibit spam-like because of the sheer number of emails -- this could get us blacklisted. It also ties up server resources in a serious way (notifications).

The limit is a recent measure and might be increased. We'll need to deal with email notifications.

To be fair, I've only sent 4 messages and it's given me warnings every time like the system doesn't want me to send them.

In fact, with the way the system is responding, I don't know if my messages are getting sent.

The error message appearing at the top (contact administrator for assistance) is normal -- provided you see the redirect page (you can check the sent folder too), it's been sent.
