Thank you so much! We're actually going into the ob-gyn tomorrow for our first checkup. The doctor doesn't know about our situation yet, but I hope she's supportive of my husband's identity.

In my eyes he's already a man, even though he doesn't have a penis. Anatomically you could say he's a woman, but he identifies as a man now.

I'm trying to be the best ally and partner I can. I have trans friends and family members, but this situation is...different, to put it lightly. We just got back from our first checkup and it went well. My husband is carrying a little bigger than average, so the ob-gyn thinks he might be three months pregnant instead of two (that or he's carrying twins).
Our ob-gyn was awesome as well. When my husband told her about his new identity, she was super understanding. Apparently her daughter is trans, so we know we'll have a supportive doctor throughout this journey.

There's sex and then there's gender. One is biological, other is societal, you make your judgement.
