(September 1, 2019, 12:14 am)Thechickenlawyer A quick one: moms on IG & YT "bitchin" about their pics & videos being used. Like common sense ladies - don't put anything in the internet you don't want used ot downloaded. An then they bitch like "I didn't say it could be used." & yet they posted it. If you don't post what you don't want downloaded or reposted through social media we wouldn't have this fuckup. Back then people kept everything for friends & family. So they need to make a choice: either get used to ther crap being downloaded & reused or don't put it up to begin with.

Dude quit victim blaming. By your logic, if a guy goes up and smack's a random woman's ass, then it's the woman's fault. People need to learn not to be creeps online, instead of justifying the actions with "well it's her fault for posting it in the first place".

2 (said this before) vlogs.. so misleading people.

Sorry to be that guy, but this is like saying girls get raped because they should not wear short/tight clothes, rather than actually realize that the rapists are the wrong ones. Video/image platforms should be a place where people feel free to publish their content without the fear of some creeps having their content stolen... the wrong ones here are the creeps. Not the ones posting content.

You're both right, though. People generally post content online with a specific purpose in mind, and unless the content is erotic in nature to begin with, they're probably not thinking it's going to end up on someone's screen as jerkoff material. Stumbling upon a thread in our forum, for example, where someone has carefully scraped all your pregnancy progression photos and other members have commented about that hot belly and great tits has got to be one hell of an experience. I imagine it feels like being horribly violated. It's probably terrifying to see such intimate things end up being repurposed for... this. That's one of the reasons we have to be careful not to reveal social media handles: keeping the content in the community keeps everyone safe and blissfully unaware. Net positive!

But let's be realistic, as well. If you put it online, you must know at some level that it is now in the public domain and could end up anywhere, for any purpose. It's part of the fabric of the internet. Anyone who's ever seen a meme should be able to put this together. I wouldn't ever blame a "victim" for being completely uncool about her content ending up here or somewhere similar, since that's a 100% reasonable reaction, but it certainly shouldn't come as a surprise anymore.

The reason we need to recognize both sides of the issue is that it's important to empathize with people who feel injured by what we do here... but also, if we were to go off the deep end and decide that we're all just a bunch of content-stealing creeps and that we should cease and desist, the site will disappear. So uh... gotta do some mental gymnastics there. Keep it classy? I don't know.

All I'm saying is that don't get upset when your things are used and downloaded. Dont want that to happen? Keep it private to family and friends. Simple as that. Deleting or making private won't help. There's someone who has your stuff even when you delete it. This is the future: the minute that mom posts a huge belly pic, someone has downloaded it. You cant get upset for that. There is no law or rule saying so.eone cant use ur stuff to roleplay using ur stuff. People can either ignore stuff or leave.

And why dont moms understand how to use YT & IG? 3rd graders can do it. If they dont like a comment, go tomthe persons profile, block them and delete the comment. It is that simple. It doesnt take up any time. I'm not victim blaming. Dont even get me started on sexual assault. I did some reading an that "2%" that Amy whatsherface says is the number of false accusations by women is? Lie. The number is unknown. No one knows the number.

I mean, you're not wrong. Sometimes the truth of things isn't what people want to hear.

But that’s the thing guys. That’s how WE see this situation. That’s OUR point of view. We can’t expect that they understand it. The same feeling we have when we see someone with a different fetish: “how can that even be a thing?”. We are “internet/porn-savvy”, but the average woman, 8 months pregnant, posting her bare belly on Youtube, rubbing it and mentioning how heavy she is, might not even imagine that there’s some guys that get hard just by watching an innocent video like hers. We can’t demand this level of knowledge from everyone.

There are limits, of course. We're privy to a lot of information they're not. But I feel like it's widespread knowledge at this point, whether you're savvy or not, that if you put something on the internet, it's on the internet -- period. There have been too many instances of celebrities having their phones or iCloud accounts hacked and intimate photos revealed, credit bureau data dumps, and so on... At this point, thinking before you upload is like looking both ways before you cross a busy street: if you have any doubts, don't do it.

Regardless, I do sympathize with the feeling of shock and violation that they feel -- I said as much. Even someone who understands the nature of the internet is probably going to be quite dismayed to find their content used in a way they don't want. All I'm saying is that it's kind of par for the course now and that it goes way beyond fetishes and whatever.

They know how to use social media, they just don't want to deal with horndogs leaving sexual comments on their page. And honestly, they shouldn't have to block people who themselves can't use common sense. If you don't know how to behave and not leave creepy comments, then you're no better than the women who don't know how to block people.

How exactly am I being a troll? I am just speaking my thoughts and there is no rule against that. It is not my problem if you do not agaree with my thoughts. You have that right. As far as the comment above you: people are not expected to use common sense anymore. That ship has sailed & sank. Read online news & you will see how that applies. People are now expected to be fools until they prove themselves. So people will be creeps and idiots because that is the norm in this country and most of the world.
