Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has done any progressions. Either week by week or month by month successfully. I’ve been trying to do it with different prompts but can’t seem to get the right mix of breast and belly growth to happen. It always gives a large belly whenever I use the “pregnant” term. Just wondering if anyone has had any success?

Depending on what model you work on... I use a factor with "pregnant" word - eg. (pregnant:0.78). With changing the factor I get whichever pregnancy progress I want to get. Works for me with such models like URPM, Realistic Vision

I’m using realistic vision myself. I guess maybe my prompting is incorrect? It would be something like “cute blonde (pregnant:1.0) woman” but I wouldn’t see any change even if I put it to let’s say (pregnant:0.0) for the character to not be pregnant at all. Or am I putting too many conflicting weights if I’m trying to specify certain elements?

Try dividing each phrase with comma. You can also emphasise the prompt with adding extra brackets makiing it eg. ((pregnant:0.78)). It is very important to use a dot instead of comma in the factor. That's all I can tell from my kwn experience. You have to play a little bit with factors, because it can work differently each feed number you take

Like @AlexCaruso touched on you can use the Attention & Emphasis features to reduce the weight placed on the "pregnant" token, but you can also use that in tandem with the Prompt Editing feature (also know as prompt2prompt).

Simply put you can use it to restrict how many steps the "pregnant" token is used for; for example [pregnant::18] will include that token up to step 18, after which it'll continue as if the token was never provided for the remaining steps with whatever noise remained.

It can also help to remove some of the shite the "pregnant" token can usually add (double navels, phantom hands, weird appendages) and use what it knows well to correct it, namely non-pregnant bellies

Worth checking the Auto1111 feature wiki on the specifics, but I'll include some examples below (each of these will be for 35 steps, and the same seed).

a [[[pregnant]]::18] woman in gym outfit <lora:pregnant_real_v10:0.8>

I'm double deemphasizing here (by a factor of 1.21 [= 1.1 * 1.1]), and by resticting it up to step 18 allowing the belly to be "normalized"

a [pregnant::18] woman in gym outfit <lora:pregnant_real_v10:0.8> - Included the non-upscaled version as well, it looks a bit nicer

With the token kept on a regular weighting it's noticable bigger and has popped out the clothes more, but again sticking more on the non-preggo side

a [[[pregnant]]::30] woman in gym outfit <lora:pregnant_real_v10:0.8>

Going back to the first prompt and increasing the steps to 30 adds more pregnant features, and other aspects of the token. Expect some artifacting if the model or LORA doesn't contain decent pregnant belly training

a [pregnant::30] woman in gym outfit <lora:pregnant_real_v10:0.8>

Finally we are almost back to how it would look if the token was provided on it's own, but it still has 5 steps left to clean-up any of the negative aspects that may exist.

One final point I should make is ControlNet's openpose preposscessor and model was used to maintain the pose between the generations, otherwise there can be some major differences in cohesion. This equally can apply to inpainting as well, for example if the pose isn't provided, between generations the belly might grow in random directions even with the same seed.

Hope this helps somewhat, obviously depending on the seed you will have to tweak these two features, it's really a case of trial and error for each new generation. I always start with a deemphasizied reduced step run and then work from there.

Be warned though "Prompt Editing" can be misused for evil and can sometimes be cursed...
