Reading pregchan lately, there's a thread on the decline of the now widely open pregnancy fetish in the past decade. In the 2000s, pregnancy fetish online communities formed, you couldn't express that in the 1990s. Funny is society first heard of it in the 1970s when liberals said "pregnancy can be sexy too" but not really in the 1980s when we were in a more conservative phase of our culture.

In Russia and many cultures, it's said to be good luck to touch a pregnant belly, but I'm sure permission has to be given first.
