I get annoyed when people (mostly pregnant women themselves) refer to the 40 weeks of pregnancy as 10 months, thinking that each month only has 4 weeks. In reality, every calendar month has 1-3 additional days, which results in 40 week being just about one week over 9 months, but nowhere near 10. If that's not enough, remember how many months are in a year: 52, which if subtracted by 40 is 12, which is almost 3 months' difference. It's pretty silly when someone refers to something like 28 weeks as "7 months pregnant" when there are actually almost 3 months left.
rant over, here's a photo as a reward for reading it

I rarely see anyone talk about being 10 months pregnant. It's either 40 weeks or 9 months.

It's the same thing as when a parent says ''My child is 12 months old''
So... they are 1?

I often see women say they're 9 months once they hit 36 weeks. But 36 weeks is actually a little over 8 months.

So... they are 1? Even if they're 19 months old, they are still 1 year old.

I should add that the majority of instances I've heard this is from pregnant women themselves
