I'm posting this here because I'd like to see votes on banning folks permanently for posting preggers that are STILL PREGNANT!
With a few caveats like woman who WANT you to go to their sites and (sometimes pay $$$) I believe very few of them really want strangers ogling over their pregnant bodies... so we lurk in private.
There have be countless epic pregnancies blogs that have been ruined because one asshole or another couldn't help themselves and they posted obscene comments or posted their links and... guess what, the pregger simply removed their pictures.
Duh!

I'm proposing that those members who insist on posting pictures BEFORE they give birth be permanently banned from this site... period!
No more warnings.... just ban their IP addresses and move on.

I hope I'm not being too bold but I've been around a very, very long time and seen plenty enough!

The way I see it, whether you're posting before or after the birth, you're still posting the pictures. If you think they wouldn't like it before, what makes you think they'd like it after?

I've double checked the pinned rules post and it doesn't say you can't post pictures before or after the birth. Just states not to post links to profiles and not to contact the woman directly to be creepy - both of these I fully support. What I'm struggling to understand is why blanket rule ban people for posting photos before the birth? Half the time I don't know whether they have or not as photos were found without any credits or linking. Happy to be swayed one way or another, just not convinced at this point...

I think that if we're going to have this rule (I can see the merits of both sides of the argument), we should add a caveat for public figures, celebrities, etc. I don't think that people should have to wait to post about a well-known person's pregnancy.

I'd support a prema ban, but not for that, if someone did something that would hurt the community, ex, someone knew for sure that a member has been making creeper comments maybe a ban or threat of ban oould curb that. If you have mod privileges and someones being dumb with good content just lock the thread or something, so it can't be updated until a better moment.

a no tolerance rules makes no sense here, new people do stupid things until you tell them otherwise.

But while we're talking new features, can we get a way to change our rating after the fact? Just a one time change, not keep changing it whenever.

I don't get the rationale behind banning someone who shares photos of preggers before childbirth.
If any, you should ban them if they share the URL of the preggers for invasion of privacy.

I voted "no" first echoing two of the points already raised: 1) famous people, and even pseudo famous people who want attention, aren't going to stop posting regardless of what happens here. 2) it may be unclear if a person is still pregnant or not. Thus at the least a "blanket rule" seems inappropriate.

Additionally, I've found the whole idea that posting a picture will increase likelihood of a women being harassed on social media to be a bit flawed. While I have no hard evidence to support such a claim, I would argue that creepy people are as good if not better than those who post pictures here with no intent at harassing the women, at finding these women through social media. If you obsess and crave at making contact, wouldn't you spend a lot of time learning how to find these women using various resources on social media? The notion that these women aren't available to creepers unless posted here, just doesn't make sense. If you're one of the many legitimate posters here, why do you think you have insight as to how to navigate social media platforms and creepers cannot? Honestly, I get the impression (I have no intention of singling anyone out by saying this) that many people who are irritated about others posting pics before a birth is that whoever posts pics first sort of has a "right" to the rest of the set, and the poster who was waiting to post the whole set post-birth has now lost out on that novelty.

Further, where does the line get drawn? Many great photos are of a second or even third pregnancy. Should pictures of a first pregnancy ever get posted because a creeper could than find this women and prevent her form posting pictures of a subsequent pregnancy?

And to reiterate, I was not singling any individual out. Much respect to those that have posted fantastic pics over the years!

If this preggo is as epic as you say then I wholeheartedly support the permaban proposal. You are absolutely right some of the best shit that I have ever fapped to has been ruined because some people can’t be civil. I say hold everything on this women until she has already popped.

Who's to say that the creeps are even from this site? Why do damage control if you're going to end up posting her pictures here anyway? If they're not posting a direct link to her profile, then what's the problem of someone wanting to share a good picture or video before she pops? Having a rule this petty is honestly dumb imo.
