Probably the majority. I’d say at least 70%, mostly from South America and Southeast Asia. Of course, I’m no data scientist.

Yeah there's the occasional "good" day where you might earn a couple hundred dollars in a single day. But this type of work is unsustainable for most women living in a non-western country.

Not to mention that with the drastically lower cost of living in Central/South America the dollar goes a lot further so those models can afford to set their prices lower. If you're a prospective camgirl in the US it's pretty much impossible to compete from a pricing standpoint, so if you're not an absolutely perfect specimen who's worth the higher price then all of your potential customers will end up choosing an equally alluring Latina who sets her menu at a tenth of the price of yours.

The dollar goes further but that doesn't mean they are paid in dollars. Most of the models from South America work for a studio. Their earnings are taxed by both chaturbate and their employer. They only get like 1/3 of however many tokens you send them. They do this because they can't afford internet to stream from home.

This is the main reason you don't see a lot of "western" camgirls, especially pregnant ones. You can't even afford your phone and internet bill in the U.S working fulltime on these sites. Plus these countries offer a wide variety of safety nets for new and expectant mothers that reduce the need to do this type of work.

It doesn't help that most users don't even tip. A girl can have 200 people in her room and literally only have 4 guys throwing 1 to 5 token tips at her. Like I mentioned on another thread, this job isn't substantial unless you're from Colombia or Romania since those are the two biggest markets.
