So first and foremost, I'm still without a computer. BUT, I should be able to get one in about a month. Before that happens though, I need some advice to avoid a massive headache.

So, I've been recording some TV shows with preggo hosts to my DVR. Katy Tur and Sara Haines to name a couple.

My question is this: Is there a way to safely download shows directly from my Hulu online DVR? I've seen a few downloadable browser extensions that claim to do the trick, but we all know how sketchy those can be.

I have about 10 hours of Katy Tur material, and close to 40 of Sara Haines. I'd REALLY rather not have to screen-record all of that manually. It'd literally take days just to get the shows in MP4 format so I can edit the belly shots.

I know its probably a long shot, but can any of you tech gurus help me out?

(FYI, I'll be working with Mac OS)

There don’t seem to be any free solutions. PlayOn looks the most promising, but it costs money and still requires 1:1 time to save the recordings.
