Ashley, twins (hefty) Delivered a whopping 15lbs, 04 oz's of babies!
Gained 75 lbs with each previous pregnancy yet dropped 115 lbs before getting pregnant again with the twins. Ballooned up again, this time to 270+ lbs and delivered twins at 38wks which only reinforces my opinion that woman are INDEED inflatable!! We’ve reached the HALF way mark to a full term twin pregnancy and already ALL my clothes are TIGHT and this momma is OUT OF BREATH all the time from the added weight!! 27wks- ’m feeling HUGE! And not in a bad way, but in a way where I’m constantly out of breath, none of my clothes fit me right, and as soon as I forget I’m pregnant, my bulging belly reminds me quick!! Heart burn this week has been awful to say the least!! And according to the old wives tale, my babies should be born with a head full of hair or come out looking like a monkeys because nothing I seem to do soothes the burn!! I’ve been extra tired lately and a little more emotional than usual, but I think it’s because it’s so real now! Like I’m growing two humans inside of me! Talk about surreal! 30wks- Momma has been experiencing a lot more time lately having swollen ankles. And the pressure of our growing babes on my uterus has me wanting to kick back and relax more times than not. My belly seems to be getting bigger and bigger everyday I wake up. And I’ve noticed new patches of stretch marks forming on the top and bottom of my belly too! Im LOVING being pregnant during the cooler months of the year this time. However, I only wear pants when I absolutely have to! 31wks5d- We are officially at our 31 weeks and 5 days mark today and HOLY MOLY DONUT HOLE are we feeling it!! I feel like I say that at every new WERK, but it’s so true! Just shy of 32 weeks but feeling 42 over here LOL! . The babes are now the size of pineapples and when they move, my whole belly shifts back and forth. According to my app, #TheHollisterTwins each weigh over 3.5 pounds, and are becoming more and more intelligent to the fact that they can more her arms, legs, and neck too - which makes sense since I’ve been feeling limbs punching and scraping my belly a lot lately! . Momma has experienced her time having swollen ankles. And the pressure of our growing babes on my uterus has me wanting to kick back and relax more times than not. My belly seems to be getting bigger and bigger everyday I wake up. I officially can’t see my lady parts ? even when I try to bend or pull my belly up! Stretch marks are a real thing. And the itching from the stretching is nutz! No worries! I’ve been lathering myself in coconut oil. 33wks6d- They’ve been SUPER ACTIVE and at my last check up, the doctor said both babies are starting to move down.. most likely due to how active I am and all the squats I’m doing!! The doctor said this isn’t a bad thing, but if I’m wanting to hold then in longer, I need to definitely slow it down. So switching to working out 3-5 days a week vs 4-6 and doing mainly prenatal specific workouts until otherwise instructed to use weights again! . ✖️I can feel the boys stretching up and down my belly which is the most bizarre feeling ever! Like the tops and bottom of my stomach tickle at the same time, all the time, times two! ✖️baby A likes to alligator roll on the left side of my body, while baby B likes to scrape his sharp AF elbows back and forth across my belly. ✖️Nugget ice and celery have been my latest cravings. Legit I want it ALL day, ERRRRRRYDAY!! ✖️I’ve officially surpassed the weight I delivered Morgan at and have been holding steady at 247 lbs — although my doctor said I can expect to gain about 1-2 lbs per week until the boys are born ✖️My dreams are VERY vivid! And every night that they in my dreams, they looks more and more like Jake ✖️I have started to pee at least 3-5 times a night. . I feel like my nerves are starting to amo up & I’m getting more excited to meet them but I’m also feeling the crunch time of everything we still need to do! 36wks- Pregnancy is hard. It’s a roller coaster physically and mentally. Your body is expanding, stretching and 4D printing freaking humans! As awe inspiring as all that can be, it can also be overwhelming, painful, and a total mind faaaaak too! This is almost 36 weeks pregnant with twins. My belly is heavy. My boobs are engorged. I’m tired and achy. I’m irritable and snappy. To be honest, I’m over being pregnant. . Ballooned up to 270+ with the twins! Delivered 15lbs, 04 oz's of babies @ 38wks
