Officially 24 weeks today, which means the triplets have reached fetal viability! Although these babies have a good chance of survival outside my belly, we still need them to stay inside and keep growing for a while longer!

I feel like my stomach is about to pop every single day. The constant pressure on my belly’s skin and the lack of space inside for these babies and all my organs causes extreme discomfort for me. I can’t help but think at times, how much bigger I can get and how much more my body can take, but then I remind myself how incredible my body is to be able to create three lives at once.
At this point in my pregnancy, I now do weekly scans with my doctors. Last weeks scan showed very healthy babies with strong hearts! All three babies are growing above average and measuring a week ahead of their actual growth dates. I guess I have my 6’5 husband and his genes to thank for that ?
Still no due date, but doctors are still setting a goal for 33 weeks. We shall see…

32wks-
So much stress has been lifted now that we have reached and passed many milestones set for pregnancies with triplets. My last doctor appointment I was told my uterus / belly is measuring 47 weeks pregnant if I were to be carrying a singleton ?
I’m sure my fellow mommas of multiples know the joys of feeling 40+ weeks pregnant ?
Getting excited and getting closer! Soon my little ones will be in my arms ?
Next doctors appointment is on Tuesday!
