I have VH (Violated Heroines), and I like it, but I want to add some things into it that I would like to see. So being a computer game the solution was simple, modding. Though when I checked the referata about modding it wasn't very clear on how it's possible to actually mod the game. I followed the links given for more information, but the hogfire link given takes me to a page in hogfire's forums (about VH), and the page itself doesn't even talk about modding the game one bit, it's just a random page it seems. Then the second link given, takes me to another page of the same forum, but this time it takes me to a page of the forum that has 2 links relevant to modding, but when I click on the links, both links turn out to be dead. So how do I mod the game now?

How do you even get this game to work on windows 7\10?

So no one knows how to mod Violated Heroine? Or at least know how to get the modding process to work?

To get it to work, you need to first set your computer's region locale to Japanese, hit the start button, go to search and just type in "region". It should bring up a result that has a picture of the earth with a small clock next to it, and it should say "Region" in bold text with smaller text under it saying "Control Panel". Click on that, and it should bring up a menu, go to "Administrative", and there should be an option there that says "Language for non-Unicode programs", click on it, change it to Japanese, restart your computer, and then follow what it says to do here: hxxp://violatedheroine.referata.com/wiki/Violated_Heroine
Start on step 2, and the rest should be pretty easy. Down load the game engine and install it, then download the game and install.

Note: that if you change your region back to where ever you might live (basically not Japan/ Japanese), and then try and open the game up, it will not work. You need to have you region set to Japan/ Japanese when ever you want to play it.
