(October 30, 2020, 6:43 pm)orta03 This issue can be helped greatly by making sure poorer countries develop into advanced societies.  That way, they'll have the capital and technological advancement to use their resources efficiently and with minimal environmental impact.

It's the "advanced societies" that are the worst offenders with regard to my concerns about pollution. Having more tech and shit doesn't imply environmental enlightenment in the slightest.

I'll check out these links.  Thanks Akhenaten.  By the way, I apologize for being a bit harsh in my reply post.  I sometimes get a bit heated in these types of debates.  You're a good guy and I don't want to insinuate you aren't by my post.

I think that we are living in a very unsustainable way and we are becoming cognizant to that. There are reasons to be encouraged by the future:

Most people procreate on purely economic terms and that's why I think what orta says is largely correct. I have twins and my wife wants more kids. Tbh having a pregnant wife really put my fantasy into perspective. The stress of a high risk pregnancy, and the crash course into parenting, and the serious lack of sleep a year later...in pure lifestyle terms it would be way easier to just bang a pregnant escort. My wife wants more kids but I just want to be able to sleep more than four hours in a row and get laid more than once every two weeks. Getting excited by some rail thing preggo model with an enormous belly and huge tits is a far cry from the real deal, but then real life rarely mashes with fantasy.

I say all of this even though I love my kids, but man do they take a toll.

I think society in general being less of a consumptive beast would solve a lot of the overpopulation issues. It's the way we go about unsustainable industries that makes me feel guilty about wanting kids (different logistical issue for me). I like children, I want to raise kids and give them a good life. My fetish is good in the sense that a lot of personal image issues about giving affection during pregnancy I could help deal with. The issue for me would be whether or not my partner wants kids, and whether or not we think we could leave them a world worth living in. Climate change isn't really helping with that one.
