there are other download managers like JDownl**der 2, oa. If you want an alternative.
JD grabs any content thru links, most porn sites, and even youtube videos, thank me later

Jdownloader and ohter porgrams don't work.

unfortunately the Inspect trick also don't work on mega.

I resolved my issue. I was using firefox, but using Chrome i was able to download without the limit

I'm not sure why you got that pop up when you tried to download the video but the app they tried to get you to install is just like any other app people have for syncing their data to cloud storage. I can't comment on how safe it is in terms of data collection and what not but from usage point of view I use it when i want to stream large files (regardless of format) without having to download it. even if you used some kind of downloader you would have to wait for it to complete before you can watch it but with the app you can stream videos directly. you do need an account though.
