I tried out a new image editing program and decided to try my hand at morphing pregnant women. I think my first test went okay and I want to try more. So I made a short list of the pictures I have uploaded that I would most like to morph, attached below. Mind you, that is if I can and do morph them. I will post any other morphs I make here too.

I picked out a bunch more and decided to give them a go. I can see my mistakes in the first bunch. If I could use a smaller brush I could fix some of them, like the squaring of rounded edges and eyes being a bit too big.
So I know what I like, but I want to make these more than just "press the THICC button" morphs. This is where I start. Any tips?
All for now. I removed some of the details because it made it easier to make more extreme modifications if I chose to go there.
Took another crack at my first morph. Realism is an issue. I found out how to use smaller brushes. lD
You may want to also use layer masking so that background isn't warped. That would also add to the realism. I'm glad to see someone else taking a shot at morphing.

I'm glad to see someone else taking a shot at morphing. Thanks. The backgrounds get an unintentional Dali treatment. I will need to practice that. I can outline the girl with the lasso tool and make her into a layer, then bring the layer to front, right?
I find it easier if you duplicate the layer. Then warp the one layer as you wish. After you have the morphing done, you create a layer mask. Then just use the layer mask to erase the warped background, but not the warped belly/breasts/etc.
What program are you using? I use Gimp2.8 and find it easy to use and its free. I tried the newer Gimp2.10 and it may be even better and/or easier (and its also free), but I was too familiar with 2.8 so I changed back. It may be time for me to make up a tutorial. Its hard to explain but should make sense with a step by step process with a few photos. When I started out I watched a few videos showing how to do breast expansion morphs and found them quite helpful (they were easier to find than belly morphing tutorials). | |||||||||||||||||
