Well, I will make a summary of the situation: a girl who works in a small store near to my house (which I go very often) is 3 months pregnant, today I went and the girl was talking with a friend (I think) While I was looking for the things that I needed, the girl mentioned that she is 3 months pregnant and that her bump is starting to being prominent, (The girl is a little bit... fat, so I had not noticed her bump) she rubbed her belly a little bit and looked very happy, I bought the things I needed but I did not mention anything about her pregnancy because I was in a hurry, I go to that store once or twice a week so I have some confidence with that girl, many times we talk of anything, so maybe one day I ask her if i can rub her belly and record it
Any tips from people who make candids to this forum will be read.

Use one of those rectangular shaped phone carrying pouch bag, hang it around your neck and let the bag sit in front of your chest, turn your video recorder on, put the phone in the bag in the front most pocket with the camera part exposed, and go and start talking to her. Or easier find an shirt with a shallow front pocket , start recording and put your phone in exposing the camera piece, remind your self to layer the touchscreen with something like using a flip case or just a thin cardboard so the screen is not disturbed by contact with your chest wall mid recording. Good luck

My trick is pretty much setting my screen on the darkest setting possible and use the volume buttons ( on iPhone ) to take pictures. I usually “stretch” or hold my phone to my chest or somewhere so no one behind me can see or think that I’m taking pictures I also put on the side of my waist while I’m walking. There is no real way to hold a phone so no one can really call you out, it just depends on the approach. Oh and never look at them when in the middle of taking pictures they’ll catch on. I hope that helps in some way

On iPhone if you go to your home page where the apps are and you swipe from the top of the screen down the lock screen comes up, but you can still record with the screen up. So I just hit record, swipe down and pretend to read notifications.
